Ebtikar Association for the Development of Creativity

A Jordanian cultural association registered with the Ministry of Culture concerned with developing the capabilities of children and youth and empowering them by providing various academic, educational and social services to them and those working with them, especially in the areas related to talent, creativity and innovation.

Competition Terms

The advanced team should consist of only 1-4 participants and one supervisor on the research
Choose a topic for research in the form of a scientific question that can be researched and investigated

(applicable and model innovation in case of devices and designs)
Using scientific methodology, fair testing, problem-solving method, and science processes
Write the project report in a scientific manner and present data in a clear and creative way
Make an explanatory video that depicts all stages of implementation, product presentation, and clear results, in no more than four minutes
Not have participated in another competition in the same manner without development or modification
Attend the competition’s workshops, which include conditions, research areas, and proposed projects

Contest categories

Category 1 (13-16) years

Category Two (17-22) years old

Project evaluation

A specialized committee from Ibtikar Association, university professors, education experts, researchers in the scientific field, and an elite group of specialists in the fields of the competition supervises the evaluation of the projects
The written and video reports of the projects are evaluated in the first stage, where the best projects are identified among the top ten at the Arab level, and the projects are subsequently nominated for presentation and evaluation at the Innovation Exhibition in the annual scientific camp to be held in Jordan 2023
The association will host the qualified teams (the top ten) in the annual Ibtikar Science Camp in Jordan and participate in the exhibition and all camp activities

The winners of the competition will be announced at the Arab level under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and the supporting universities at the honoring ceremony at the end of the scientific camp, and they will be honored with certificates of excellence and a future scientists card that allows them to participate in Arab and international innovation events for a period of time 3 years . The winning projects are also nominated for the Luma International Competition
